Recently BearingPoint indicated that it has set up Oracle® Demantra Demand Management in order to develop planning and functioning procedures of San Diego, California based Kyocera Wireless Corporation.

Kyocera Wireless is a chief producer of devices, wireless handsets and fixed machine-to-machine modules in the world. Oracle® Demantra Demand Management’s main function is to search for solutions to substitute its manual procedure to:

• formulate plans and forecasts
• improve accuracy
• lead to better audit trails
• produce reliable and steady enterprise-wide spreadsheets
• develop better data sources for planning.
BearingPoint deployed Oracle Demantra Demand Management to cater to the needs of Kyocera Wireless. According to Todd Huffine, Kyocera Senior Director of Information Technology, “In less than four months, BearingPoint helped us replace our manual, spreadsheet-forecasting processes with a state-of-the-art planning process.”
BearingPoint has also worked together with Kyocera in order to improve user interface, automatic change tracking potentialities and online forecast measurement tools.
