Women and their makeup can sometimes be inseparable. There are some women out there who think they look perfectly fine without it and they probably do, but there are women who would not be caught dead without some on. It can borderline on obsession for many ladies and they usually do not mind telling you that is the way it is. It is phenomenal how much women will spend on makeup and other beauty products when they think they are getting the absolute best. Eventually they run out of it and buy some more. Sometimes they will try something new and sometimes they stick with what they know works well.
One thing that some ladies do that might seem a little ridiculous is when they wear makeup when they go swimming. It is true. They might even wear it then. Hey, if you are going to the pool, beach, boating, or to a water park, you have to look good right? It is only when they wear the wrong kind that can cause a problem.
Some makeup and especially mascaras are not water resistant or as it is more commonly referred to, waterproof. When the face gets wet or becomes moist, some makeup wipes off very easily and a lot of mascara types can make the ugliest horror movie eyes you have ever seen. Going swimming can be almost impossible for a makeup wearer if it is something that wipes away or runs easily. Chances are they will not even go near the water when they wear it. How many times have you been to the beach or pool and heard some lady tell someone not to splash her face?
There are types of makeup out there that is not only waterproof, but nearly bulldozer proof! It can take an act of congress to remove some of this stuff. It is perfect to wear where you might get a little wet. You can go looking great and still enjoy yourself because you know you will stay looking that way. Even lipsticks and blushes have become long wearing and harder to remove.
It is always important to make sure you use the proper cleansers to remove these long lasting make up items. Skin that is in good condition in the first place will look better when make up is applied and you can use less because there are fewer imperfections to cover up. Eyelashes are fragile and can be pulled out rather easily and take months to grow back, so use appropriate mascara remover when doing taking it off.
