I had long hair for years and not only was my hair badly damaged by the end of the summer because of all the chlorine, salt water and sun exposure had made it dry, dull and frizzy. I had grown bored with the style. So my friend tells me that I really need to go to the salon. So we go out and look for a good salon just for me.
There are a lot of salons that you can choose from; most are very affordable while others are really expensive depending on the services and the products that they use. But still I looked for the best salon that can really help me with my problem. I don't want any hairdresser experimenting on it. So I ended up with David's Salon. A very warm welcome greeted us. They all wore black. I just wonder why most of the salons make their staff wear black when they can use white, which looks way neater. (Just a suggestion) lol. They attended to us immediately, offered us a seat and gave us reading materials while waiting for our turn.
Then it was our turn. The hair dresser talked to me and touched my hair for assessment. I requested for a fun and easy and wash and wear style so the hair recommended a short modern bob for a new look. I felt kind of awkward because I know what a bob cut looks like. But he told me that it was modern , and assures me that today's bob have strong shapes, lots of texture and clean outlines plus is edgy but feminine. And he also recommends pairing a short cut with maximum shine and a special color effect just putting colors in a fringe area.
I found out that there are different kinds of bob cuts.
1. Round bob is good for someone with strong jaw lines because the cut will soften the jaw area.
2. Square bob. This type of bob suits round oval faces and diamond shaped faces as well.
3. A line bob. This in nice for a round face as the cut elongates the face.
4. A pixie cut or crop. This is as short as it can get. The pixie cut is good for those with a small faces and also for those with an elongated chin. And of course, a lot of self confidence.
Before I got my hair cut, he also recommended me to have my hair treated because it was really damaged. He treated it with their special solution and after that he started to cut my hair. He gave me a square and slightly A line bob, adding texture and clean lines for a soft, feminine and modern look. He advised me to choose wisely the right products for my hair. Mousse works for fine hair like mine, while coarse hair needs molding mud.
I was really surprised to see how shiny and healthy my hair looked after the treatment he had given me. The copper tones were gone plus no more frizz.
