A text message or SMS (Short Message Service) is a message of no more than 160 characters that is sent to and/or from a mobile phone. It is the mobile equivalent to an email message. If you get a message of more than 160 characters, it is actually 2 messages that have been joined by your operator back into one message.

SMS started almost by accident as a way for the networks engineers to communicate with each other using unneeded network time, but has grown from a standing start in 1996 to around 100m messages per day in the UK alone.

While MMS (Multi Media Messaging) is now available, experts see SMS as the dominant methodolgy for at least another 10 years

e-txt™ is the leading bulk SMS software used by businesses and organisations worldwide to manage mobile communications. Send, receive, filter, schedule and set auto-responds to inbound SMS text messages using Dynmark’s FREE, award winning bulk SMS software.

e-txt™ bulk SMS XML interface can be integrated with your existing software & website. Just pay for the messages you send.

Message credits for e-txt™, the award winning text messaging software from Dynmark, are purchased using the e-txt™ Buy Message Credits wizard. To open the wizard click on the Credit Card icon on the toolbar. You can also pay by cheque by special arrangement (contact info@e-txt.co.uk for more details).

Although the costs of e-txt™ message credits are among the lowest in the UK, quality and reliability have not been compromised. Indeed e-txt™ is used by the UK police emergency search and rescue service to help save lives.

From time to time price fluctuations will occur and this will result in prices for message credits going up as well as down.

The volume of messages sent using e-txt™ allows Dynmark to negotiate the lowest possible prices with the UK and international mobile network operators and it is our policy to pass on these savings.
