A marriage is a very private connection between two people. Only those two spouses know what made them first decide to get married, and only they can really know why they have decided to end the marriage if things have gone wrong. If you and your spouse have decided to move forward with an Orange County divorce, the decision was probably made for a variety of reasons. Maybe you and your spouse have grown apart since you first entered into your marriage. Maybe something went wrong during the marriage and you and your spouse have been unable to move past it and have therefore decided to move forward with the Orange County divorce. Again, only you and your spouse know the specific reasons why your marriage has come to an end, but if you have recently made the decision, you are probably wondering how you are going to break the news to your friends and family. Telling the families of you and your spouse about ending your marriage can be a very difficult thing to do. Families of one spouse are often very involved with and attached to the other spouse, so in some ways it is often like that spouse is divorcing from their in-laws as well. There are really no defined standards on how to break the news of your Orange County divorce to your friends and family. Every situation is unique so you will more than likely end up approaching the matter from the angle that best fits your relationship with those friends and family. Often times, couples have shared friends, so there is usually a period when the spouses and the friends determine how the friendships will continue, or if they even continue. Sometimes the friendships split with some of the friends maintaining their relationships with one spouse while cutting ties with the other. If you and your spouse have children, one of the most difficult parts of your Orange County divorce may be breaking the news to them. The news of their parents ending their marriage can sometimes be crushing to a child, so parents often approach the matter with a great deal of care. Only you can know the best method to use when breaking the news to your children. Your children may ask you many questions after you have told them the news. They might ask you about child custody during the conversation as well. Explaining child custody to your children may be difficult because they might not be able to fully understand the concept depending on their age. You may also have to explain the child custody process and the court case you might have to go through. If you are struggling with things during the course of ending your marriage, you might want to look into employing the help of family law. The good thing about working with family law is that these legal professionals have a great deal of experience in these matters and can help you navigate the difficult situations that you will go through.
