Not long ago Wal-Mart was the preferred choice for buying music from. But this was before the Internet grew so much. Now the Internet is the preferred place to get music, movies, software, games and all other kinds of stuff from.
But the ugly side of free music and movie downloads is that many of those sites are illegal and offer free stuff, which is not theirs. Copyright infringements are so wide spread. Also, many of these illegal sites just do down and never appear again. So, if you want not to break the law and have a reliable provider of music, the only alternative is to subscribe for a downloads site. There are many such sites and they offer monthly or annual subscriptions.
Having to pay a small fee is logical and acceptable. This fee covers the running costs of the site and the rights to download the files. The good news is that this fee is all you have to pay � i.e. there are no per file charges.
There are also sites, which charge per file. This is a better option if you want a couple of files only. But if you are a music-hungry teenager, then paying a monthly fee and downloading as much as you can could be the better alternative.
My favorite site is My Music, Inc. I have a teenage kid, who is really fond of music, movies, games and software and this site is the perfect match because it offers a vast selection of all these things. Additionally, it has downloads from all genres, so everybody in the family can find something for him or her. You can get music, movies, exciting games, great software programs, etc. without fear that while you are doing this you are breaking the law or are endangering yourself and your computer.
ITunes has become one of the most visited sites for downloading mp3 and iPod music. Truthfully, it may be the most popular. Also, YouTube is a popular source for shared files and music videos. Only two well-used sites are mentioned in this blog, but a plethora of web pages are now dedicated to providing everyone, regardless of age, with free or reasonably priced resources to download mp3 music unlimited. Regardless of the preferred genre, something is available for everyone in the home. From the toddler learning his or her first songs, to the oldies but goodies that Grandma loves, the Internet is the place for finding music.
To put it shortly, it is up to you to say which site for free music and movie downloads is the best. For some people the best site is the one, which charges per file, while for others a flat fee and unlimited downloads is their dream come true. But in both cases you must admit that the Internet is the best place for work and entertainment!
