The CD kicks off with an outstanding track, 21 Things I Want In A Lover, that I anticipate will be heard on radio stations everywhere, and deservedly so. It’s a really nice track.
Rock music fans will recognize some of the well known guests that have been assembled to play along with Morissette on several of the tracks. Artists like Jamie Muhoberac and Chris Chaney just to name a couple.
Overall Under Rug Swept is outstanding from beginning to end. One of those CDs that after a few listens the songs are just etched into your memory. A must have for the Rock fan. Really spectacular from beginning to end.
While the entire album is outstanding the truly standout tunes are track 7 - That Particular Time, track 11 - Utopia, and track 9 - You Owe Me Nothing In Return.
My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 - 21 Things I Want In A Lover. It’s a great track!
