Not sure what’s happening with me on this one, but it seems like the more I listen to it, the better Seven Swans gets. Seven Swans stated simply is one of Sufjan Stevens’s best CDs to date.

Refreshingly, this was one of those CDs I was able to just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.

One of the refreshingly nice things about this CD is the way all of the participating artists seem to be really enjoying themselves. Combine that with the overall presentation and you’ve got one of Sufjan Stevens’s most impressive releases ever.

Listen to this CD and I believe you’ll find there's not much to dis-like about it. The songs are inspired, the production is simply outstanding, and Sufjan Stevens is clearly in top form. So much so that if you're even mildly into Pop music you'll enjoy this album.

While the entire album is really very good some of my favorites are track 2 - The Dress Looks Nice On You, track 8 - We Won't Need Legs To Stand, and track 12 - The Transfiguration

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 - All The Trees Of The Field Will Clap Their Hands. Outstanding!
