Timothy B Schmit has been a heavy hitter in the Rock genre for quite some time now and Playin It Cool is an excellent illustration as to why.
One of the refreshingly nice things about this CD is the way all of the participating artists seem to be really enjoying themselves. Combine that with the overall presentation and you’ve got one of Timothy B Schmit’s most impressive releases ever.
Listen to this CD and I believe you’ll find there's not much to dis-like about it. The songs are inspired, the production is simply outstanding, and Timothy B Schmit is clearly in top form. So much so that if you're even mildly into Rock music you'll enjoy this album.
While this entire album is really very good the truly standout tunes are track 3 - So Much In Love, track 7 - Take A Good Look Around You, and track 9 - Give Me The Money.
My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 - Playin’ It Cool. It’s a great track!
