So with this post you might ask yourself, "Just what does he mean, variety?". I am writing this blog to inform you that there truly is a lot of variety when you are selecting your San Diego Wedding DJ or Corporate Party DJ etc. Not only are there many successful companies throughout San Diego County that all have a vast array of style and experiences, there are also many web based resources and websites to help you shop if that is more your cup of tea.
To find the entertainment and/or DJ for your next wedding, Christmas Party, Halloween Party, whatever it may be, you will be presented with several questions. Being that my experience as an individual is primarily Weddings and Corporate Parties, I'll ask you a blunt question: What are you looking for in your San Diego Wedding DJ?
I find that it is always best to play with the cards you have been given. That's why the slogan for the companies I have been involved with on my journey as a Wedding DJ have been characteristic of what I have to offer. That is a clean cut, classy and professional DJ that puts the focus on you. Maybe this isn't what you want. Maybe you are more interested in a bilingual DJ or someone who is more renowned for leading people into line dances on the dance floor. There are also a lot of politics involved in the San Diego Wedding scene.
Believe it or not there are many associations that are very difficult to get in, and the people that have worked their way to the top of these associations are usually very knowledgeable and experienced. Maybe they are someone that you would feel most comfortable with DJ'ing your wedding. To my experience, it is best to be extremely comfortable with your wedding DJ before the day of the event.
As stated in my Wedding DJ Buying Guide for San Diego Couples, you want to make sure that the DJ that you have met with is the DJ that is going to be at your wedding. The last thing you want to be dealing with when you are going through your events is to have some animosity towards someone because they weren't the person or DJ that you expected.
Let's dig a little deeper. There aren't just wedding's going on in San Diego County and there are many more things that you could be planning. What if you were planning a bat mitzvahs and you wanted to make sure that you found a Jewish DJ? The best bet would be to head to your favorite search engine and start looking for those keywords that are exactly what you want. It's all about finding the best fit for your needs.
The best thing that is going on with many DJ companies is to have some online support and customer service. Many DJ companies now offer logins where you can go to their website and actually login and choose music and fill out a planning form for your event and even pay online! It is really innovative and detailed to have that kind of control over something so simple as the entertainment for your party.
Many corporate parties will have the need for a very professional and classy DJ. This is something that will take some searching as many of the leading DJ companies (via google) will be either geared towards Weddings and booked doing those, or they will be more into the club scene and trying to mix hip-hop during your cocktail hour.
It is important that you find someone that is relaxed and confident for these classy events and will provide a professional sound system so the announcements can be heard crystal clear during those speeches. Another benefit that is offered through the innovative DJ websites is the ability for you and your guests at the corporate party to login and make requests from the online database of music. Now sometimes this isn't the best bet considering that the DJ will often know how to get people dancing more than you do, but it is still fun for people to make some requests about the music they could hypothetically hear at the big company part. When it comes to the bottom line, if you are doing any kind of professional event, you should strive for professional customer service!
With this things in mind when you are looking at the variety that San Diego's DJ companies has to offer, you should be able to find the company and/or DJ that is just right for you. Coming from a professional standpoint I feel confident in saying that a DJ wants to be in the scenario that is best for him/her as well! Being a San Diego Wedding DJ is competitive, but I can confidently say that there isn't another wedding DJ in San Diego county that is just like me.
