So, what exactly is a remote dog trainer? It is a device composed of transmitter and receiver. A remote transmitter sends signal to the receiver that is attached to the collar of your dog. The receiver then delivers the appropriate stimulation to your dog. The electric stimulation that is delivered to your dog is intended not to harm your pet, rather to distract them by delivering unpleasant electric sensation. Remote trainers should be worn at least a couple of weeks and should be taken off for at least 4-times a day. This will teach your dog to remember the electric sensation with the remote trainer being off. Remote dog trainer provides different levels of sensation.
