There are a few major things I certainly disagree with concerning "The Secret" but, I do believe in the "Law of Attraction!" Here's why...

Turning on my television set a news anchorman within moments broke into regular programming breathlessly announcing that Greensburg, Kansas was devastated by a tornado that was a mile and a half wide. I took a deep breathe as I realized that my daughter and her families town was just twenty miles from Greensburg.

We live in a fallen world and there's already too much in life that is against us anyway. We don't need to be beating up on ourselves too.

Expectation is the key to receiving from Him. What good does it do to pray without expecting God to answer?

Jesus said, "According to your faith, let it be done unto you" (Matt 9:29). How can anything positive "be done unto you" if you are not exercising your faith in what you desire?

Believe you receive when you pray! What good does it do to pray without expecting to receive? You might as well not pray at all, for faith is required to receiving what you desire.

Why is it so hard to take action? Is it fear? Is it lack of belief? What's the deal, anyway?

Every day we're confronted with situations where we need to influence, lead and persuade people. From persuading your children to clean their room, to convincing your boss to give you a raise. It's all about influence.

Your attitude is supported by your beliefs and your beliefs are vital to your success or failure in life. Jesus said, "As you have believed, let it be done unto you" (Matthew 8:13).

Wouldn't it be nice to believe anything and everything that someone said? Unfortunately, most people's words are filled with good intentions, but many never follow through. I'm sure glad God is not like that! We know His Word is good, and what He says He will do, He will do!

If Satan can get you unplugged from fellowship with fellow believers and isolate you from God's family, you become perfect breeding ground for all kinds of negative circumstances to arise in your life.

To attract attractive people, you must be attractive. To attract powerful people, you must be powerful. To attract committed people, you must be committed. Instead of going to work on them, you go to work on yourself. If you become, you can attract.

All we must do to attract the things we desire is...

It's easy to just say whatever you think God wants to hear, but He is not fooled by words. He knows our hearts.
